How the Admissions Process Works:

  • 1. Confidential Assessment: Let us know you’d like to recovery. Express your concerns and learn about our programs.

  • 2. Quick Insurance Verification: A quick insurance verification to make sure your provider is in-network.

  • 3. Schedule your admissions appointment: Immediately following your in-person medical exam, you will meet your counselor and get acquainted with our facilities

  • 4. In-person Medical Exam: Our nurses will review your medical history, assess you for withdrawal symptoms, check your vitals and review history of substance use. You will also be assessed by our clinical staff and work with a case manager throughout your stay.

  • 5. Individualized Treatment Plan: A treatment plan will be created for you based on your individual needs and updated as you progress through our continuum of treatment.

Getting Ready for Treatment

New Day Recovery makes it easy to get started with treatment, we’re here to support you or your loved one through the entire treatment process.

Whether you are calling for yourself, or someone else, our intake process starts with a quick phone call to one of our Admissions Coordinators. When you call, it is helpful to have the following information prepared:

  • Full Legal Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Medication List
  • Social Security Number
  • Insurance Information

The Admission Coordinator will collect some more detailed information over the next 5-10 minutes and schedule an appointment time. We understand the urgency of getting to treatment when you need it, that’s why we schedule intake appointments for same-day, or next-day.

Packing for Treatment

We provide almost everything our clients need for their stay with us.  If you plan to bring personal items with you, they will be stored in locked storage until you are ready to leave treatment.

General Essentials:

  • Photo ID
  • Insurance card
  • Prescription card (if applicable)
  • All medications in their original bottles

For Detox:

  • 1 week’s supply of undergarments (socks, underwear, bras, undershirts) – note that during detox, provided sweatpants and sweatshirts will be worn.
  • Cigarettes in sealed, unopened packs or a disposable vape (NON-REFILLABLE) in an unopened package.
  • Slippers, shower shoes, and one pair of shoes
  • Detox will provide all necessary hygiene products; personal items are not permitted in the detox unit.

For Residential:

  • About 1 weeks’ worth of clothes
  • 3 sets of sleepwear
  • Unopened, alcohol-free/aerosol-free hygiene products
  • Unopened makeup products, free of alcohol/aerosol
  • You may bring a hairdryer and a hair straightener or a curling iron if desired.

Please note: Cell phones are allowed but will not be accessible during detox or residential phases.

Additional Guidelines:

  • No perfumes or cologne are permitted.
  • We kindly ask that you limit your belongings to ONE suitcase or two small duffel bags.
