During your stay at New Day Recovery, we work to heal your mind, body and soul. As you go through the detox and addiction recovery process, it is important that your body is being fueled with good nutrition. You will be served daily meals and snacks. New Day Recovery’s Nutrition Department brings over 30 years of experience in Health Care and/or Food Services. Our staff have Serv-Safe certifications, so you can be assured everything that you eat will be properly handled and prepared. We have a certified Dietician overseeing our menus.
The staff at New Day Recovery is dedicated to serving you comfort foods that you know, as well as foods that may be new to you. Please let us know of any special dietary needs that you may have during your addiction recovery.

I came to New Day because I was tired of struggling with addiction. I lost my fiancé in 2021 from an overdose. After that, I struggled even more, and after 8 years of battling through the ups and downs, I finally had enough. I originally called a different program, but they didn’t accept my insurance. They said they would find a place for me, and the next day I received a call from New Day on a Friday. I was picked up on Monday.
I was very nervous about going to a different city and entering treatment. The driver who picked me up was such an amazing guy. I don’t remember too much of the ride, but I made it to intake and then to detox. Everyone was so nice, friendly, and most importantly, nonjudgmental.
Detox was very difficult for me, but the staff was extremely helpful and took amazing care of me. I couldn’t really eat at first, but after a few days, I was surprised by how well they fed us.
After I got through detox, I decided to go to residential treatment for 30 days. Unfortunately, I found out that my sister had passed away on my sobriety date. I was devastated and ready to leave, but after calming down, I talked to one of the counselors, and he talked me into staying—which I believe saved my life.
After getting settled in my room, I was impressed with all the different activities they provided. My personal favorites were the gym and the beautiful fire pit. I really appreciated all the staff; they made sure we were taken care of.
I highly recommend treatment through New Day. At first, I was nervous about leaving the safety of treatment, but I was well-equipped with the tools I learned in groups. I found myself again because of the treatment I received.

Surpassed my expectations

This place saved my life.
It is so beautiful there and they make it very comfortable. I got a haircut and a massage. If you are a smoker they will let you smoke outside and they give you many breaks to do so. They offer fun arts and crafts and groups. I had my own room and a TV and a remote. They also offer living arrangements afterwards. To everyone that helped me when I was there, God bless you all.

Best place I’ve been to.
Great staff, great directors and smoke breaks every hour. Home cooked meals and compassionate staff. I love this place. Thanks for the help in my sobriety to all the staff. Can’t complain about anything.
