About Us

Tom and Stefanie Ivany started New Day Recovery after recognizing a need for quality, compassionate inpatient addiction care in Northeast Ohio. Our first, small treatment center in Youngstown, Ohio was home to a small staff of individuals, many of which are still working with us today, who dedicated themselves to provide the best care to those in need of treatment. The first location, now home to our women’s residential program, housed 16 inpatient treatment beds, and so much hope. 

From these humble beginnings, we opened other New Day Recovery locations across Northeast Ohio, eventually consolidating them into one location in Niles, Ohio. With all of the change and growth we have experienced over years, we have continued to improve our services, our approaches to treatment, our centers and our amenities. We are committed to upholding a standard of care, compassionate and human-focused individualized treatment for anyone that comes into contact with our programs.

From detoxification and inpatient residential treatment to partial hospitalization and recovery housing programs, New Day Recovery offers a comprehensive suite of services aimed at guiding you through every stage of your recovery. Our dual diagnosis treatment center provides access to mental health treatment providers alongside holistic therapies, ensuring a well-rounded approach to healing.

Our detox and residential programs are separated by gender and tailored to the distinct experiences of men and women. These programs provide a supportive and safe environment free from distractions. By offering these separate programs for men and women, we create a space where individuals can openly address gender-specific issues, share common experiences, and receive targeted support from our clinicians and medical providers.

Each client room is thoughtfully furnished with a personal television, cozy bed, and half-bathroom for your convenience. Additionally, our facility features a salon, barbershop, gaming rooms, gyms, outdoor recreation spaces, and more, providing ample opportunities for leisure and recreation during your stay.
