Family Visitation and Support at New Day Recovery

At New Day Recovery, we understand the crucial role that family plays in the recovery process. We believe that involving loved ones can significantly enhance the healing journey for our patients. Our Residential Family Programming is designed to provide support, education, and connection between our clients and their families, helping to foster an environment of understanding and encouragement.

Family Programming Schedule

Bi-Weekly Family Sessions: Each client is allowed to have one (1) family member, who is 18 years or older, participate in our educational group and visitation sessions. These sessions are held bi-weekly, ensuring that families remain involved and informed throughout the recovery process.

Gender-Specific Days: To create a comfortable and focused environment, our family programming is scheduled on gender-specific days. For male patients, family programs are held on Saturdays. Female patients have their family programs on Sundays. This structure allows for a tailored approach, addressing the unique needs and dynamics of each group.

Additional Support and Intervention

In some cases, further clinical intervention involving family members may be recommended. Our clinical staff is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and will coordinate additional sessions as needed. These sessions are arranged at a convenient time and date, allowing for more in-depth support and communication between the client, their family, and our onsite counselor.

Why Family Involvement Matters

Family involvement is a cornerstone of effective recovery. By participating in our family programming, loved ones gain a deeper understanding of addiction, recovery, and how to best support their family member during and after treatment. Our goal is to strengthen family bonds, reduce misunderstandings, and equip everyone involved with the tools they need for lasting success in recovery.

At New Day Recovery, we are committed to treating each patient as an individual, not just another number. Our family programming is one of the many ways we demonstrate this commitment, ensuring that our patients and their families receive the care, attention, and support they deserve.
